Currency and GST

All sales are made in Australian Dollars and include GST where applicable. Conversion to other currencies will depend entirely on the conversion rates applied by the financial institution providing your payment service.

Coupons & Discount Vouchers

It is usual business practice not to apply discounts offered to all products. Not all products and classes are eligible for discounts or coupon vouchers. Discounted products, sale items, specials, books, magazines, classes, kits, fabric packs, and speciality products (such as Liberty Fabrics) are often priced at a level that doesn't allow for additional discounts. Management reserves the right to decide which products are eligible to be discounted. Management reserves the right to refuse a sale if there are errors or omissions in the pricing or shipping calculations (errors and omissions excepted). Occasionally, some previously issued discount coupons may be revoked or replaced with other offers such as free shipping. Whether to honour a coupon is at the sole discretion of amitié Textiles. Coupons and discounts (including free shipping) cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, such as sale items. If you are unsure you are welcome to add your coupon code to the notes section of your order - we will review your case individually and adjust any amounts at processing. Unless otherwise stated sales exclude already reduced items, kits, fabric packs, books, Liberty of London, classes & programs.

Delivery & Shipping

Online orders are packed Monday - Friday.
We will ship by Australia Post or other freight providers. We can deliver anywhere in the world. We reserve the right to consent to fill any order. We will only ship once full payment has been received.
Orders will be shipped within 5 working days of being received. We will inform you within 10 working days of products on backorder. We cannot guarantee shipping times.
All program members must update their details through the 'Update My Details' form, otherwise, we cannot guarantee that details changes will be actioned.
Delivery within Australia usually takes 1-15 working days.
Deliveries outside Australia can take between 2 - 6 weeks depending on where the product is being shipped. Shipping is calculated by weight and/or size of the parcel. Shipping rates are sometimes overestimated at time of purchase.
Amitie will amend these rates when packing and processing the order to reflect the true value. You may be notified if changes are made to charges via e-mail once an order is processed. Individual country's duty & tax charges are the responsibility of the purchaser (Amitie Textiles does not bear responsibility for these charges).
Delivery times are outside amitie Textiles Control.
Parcels will be shipped with "Authority to Leave" unless otherwise requested.

Refund and Exchange Policy

We offer exchange or credit note only for homewares, notions, and merchandise. If you intend to return goods, please notify us immediately by emailing info@amitie.com.au with the reason for the return. All items must be returned within a reasonable time frame, no longer than 14 days for domestic sales or 6 weeks for international sales. Returned goods must be in their original condition and include a copy of the invoice or proof of payment. Please note, we cannot accept the return of patterns or books due to copyright law. All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Cut fabric and meterage, including kits and fabric packs, cannot be returned unless they are deemed faulty.

Refunds are at management's sole discretion and will be issued in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, and refunds will only be credited to the same credit card used for the original purchase. All returns must be sent to the amitié Textiles address listed on our "Contact Us" page, and goods must be returned to our store at your cost before any refund or exchange can be processed.

Additionally, proof of ID may be requested, and the ID must match the details provided at the time of purchase. For further inquiries, please contact us at info@amitie.com.au.

Privacy, Disclosing Information, Security

Amitié Textiles is committed to protecting your privacy and any information you share with us! We keep all customer information confidential and do not sell or share any information with any third parties.

How we protect your information: We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect your personal information. Sensitive and private information transferred between the site and users happen over an SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.

Your personal information: When you place an order through our site, we will hold your order information for our records only. Personal information volunteered to Amitié Textiles for Block of the Month or any other fabric/thread club is kept on file for the duration of the program or until customers opt-out of the program. As always, Amitié Textiles does not share this information with third parties.

Information we collect: We may collect information from users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when users visit our site, add an item to their cart, place an order or subscribe to our newsletter. Users may be asked for, where appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information. We will collect this type of personal information only if it is voluntarily submitted.

Cookies: Like many websites, our site uses "cookies". Cookies are small data files placed on a user's browser or device by a website. These files contain an anonymous identifier that allows a website to recognize you when you visit. They do not contain any personal information. A user may choose to set their web browser and/or device to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. This can be done through your browser and/or device settings.
