AM196: Linocutting and Printing by Dijanne Cevaal - Saturday 8th May

During this workshop you will be creating your own linocut which can be used for printing fabric or paper.

The class is designed to focus on the lino-cutting process, some experimentation with cuts and texture and the commencement of simple designs.
It is not possible to cut complex designs in one day however, you will discuss design balance and creating more complex designs, negative space and how to use your computer in aiding and refining design.
You will create prints on different types of cloth, and look at how to use printed fabrics in projects.
