In this fun, highly creative workshop, Jennifer Sampou renowned for her use of gradient colour,  will share with participants an alternative and very modern way to make wonky hexagons.   Mini-gons will be included too!

Throughout the workshop, participants will cover four techniques:
-How to make quick half square triangles
-Create improv polygon shapes (three different options)
-Draft various layouts for polygons, both set and free flowing.
-Explore variety of appliqué possibilities by hand and machine.

 This style of quilt provides the perfect opportunity to explore design and colour sense.  Jennifer will discuss fabric choice, colour selection and the balance/tension of value play and encourage participants to play around with positive and negative space.

Polygon Play would be a fantastic project to dive into the scrap box or an absolute show stopper in Jennifer’s latest fabric range, the Sky Collection for those brave enough to delve into the world of ombre fabrics.
