Working from one of Ruth’s original patterns, participants will work through the process of piecing together their own botanical quilt top to be transformed into your own textile artwork.

The workshop will cover translating the design onto the fabric pieces.  Ruth will then teach her method for machine piecing all the pieces together including curved piecing and partial seaming.

You will love watching the design take shape. There will be a discussion around the best style and method for quilting the top and how best to finish off the artwork.

This is a truly creative, artistic workshop taking traditional methods in patchwork to a wonderful new level.

Each participant will receive their own kit of Ruth’s beautiful hand dyed fabrics, interfacing and pattern.
