Learn the crochets basics with this classic pattern, the Granny Square.  Sandra Torrance will teach participants the 4 stitches used to make up this design including; chain stitch, slip stitch, double crochet and triple crochet.  Discuss how to accomplish your own colour theme and calculate how much yarn you will need to complete the project.

By the end of the workshop you will be equipped to complete your very own Granny square blanket.

To complete your Granny Squares, participants will need a 4mm crochet hook and DK/8ply cotton yarn.  Please bring along your own or purchase in store during your class.
