Begin your dressmaking career with this brilliantly simple peasant style top.  Students will work from a pattern, learning how to read and prepare the pattern pieces.  Your teacher, Marilyn Clark will take you through how to lay and cut the fabric, sewing seams and overlocking, elastic casings and how to create a neat hem.

Some sewing experience is beneficial.  We recommend completing our Beginners Basics Pillowcase workshop if you are an absolute beginner before attempting this one.

Please bring your own sewing machine (in good working order) along with manual. If your machine is new, we highly recommend familiarising yourself with the machine prior to class.
