It was all about the name – too good to resist and an opportunity for Jen to showcase the popular sampler quilt style in her own unique and scrappy way.
Over the past 6 months, Jen has been drafting blocks. Some traditional, some original and ranging in difficulty with a mix of methods (hand piecing and appliqué, rotary cutting and machine piecing). It shouldn't be a surprise that Jen’s love of circles and curves will come into play too.
A selection of 6” blocks - 6 per month for 12 months – 72 different designs total to add to your collection.
Not only will you receive 72 different blocks, but Jen has also drafted 9 different lay outs to choose from – presented with Month 1 so you can plan, as some layouts will require multiples of one design. These layouts range from the traditional to the more modern setting, ensuring there is something for each quilter.
Amitie is so excited to be exclusively running this block of the month. After many, many requests, It is our first step into the world of PDF, and we hope for it not to be our last. A side step from our original programs where we supply fabric each month, this BOM encourages you to raid your fabric collection, use what you have and get inspired again by those prints you’ve stashed away.
“I have more fabric than a quilt store at home” – we hear this all the time. Quilters who have been collecting for many years would… we do too! So let Jen inspire you to use those prints in your very own Dear Jen quilt.
Amitié recognises quilting has a strong online community so tag your work on Instagram and join the Dear Jen group to link up with like-minded makers from all over the globe. This group will be available only to participants of the program and will provide peer support and encouragement (not to mention a great place to share eyes and find inspiration for the project).
In the private Facebook group, Jen will also be posting videos which include tips and tricks about construction and also discussion about fabric selection!

The Program...
- 12 Month program.
- Upfront payment of $80 (AUD)
- A sampler style of quilt with 72 different blocks, and, 9 different layouts to choose from – endless options to create fantastic quilts!
- 6 blocks per month e-mailed directly to you alongside tips and tricks videos which will be available via the private Facebook Group.
Important Details To Note...
- This is a PDF block of the month. Pattern and template sheets will be emailed monthly to participants.
- This program will commence on the 30th of April 2019.
- The one time only payment will be processed at time of sign up.
- No cancellations.
- Any participants caught sharing their program with unregistered participants will be removed from the program.
- By joining the Facebook group, partipants agree to the community guidelines.

These kits will have a range of fabrics in them to match the style and look Jen’s quilt will have.
You can then raid your own fabrics to add your own personal touch.
3m of fabric in a selection of fat 16ths – including florals, geometrics, blenders, low volumes/backgrounds.
