Chris Jurd's Snowball Circle quilt is a great opportunity to work with large scale blocks.  The 22” circle block lends itself to exploring and playing with large scale prints.   Chris will guide participants through working with freezer paper templates to cut each of the blocks components and explain techniques to making sewing curves a breeze.  The block also works well for Fussy Cutting and Chris will discuss how to use these to their best advantage. Chris will also talk about Colour Value, Scale and Contrast to really make a quilt design stand out.
