AM027: Fussy Cutting Fundamentals with Angie Wilson from GnomeAngel



In this wonderful introduction to fussy cutting, participants will use the bear paw quilt block to learn  the fundamentals of fussy cutting including;

- Using motifs for maximum impact,

- Pattern matching,

- Working with directional fabrics

- Creating a secondary design.

Angie will walk participants through what to look for when purchasing fabrics for fussy cutting and ensure they have a functioning stash of fabrics to work from.  

This is the perfect class to discover a new way of looking and working with fabric.

Bring to class:
*Sewing Machine and manual (just in case)
*Walking Foot
*Glue Pen
*Rotary Cutter, Ruler, Cutting mat, seam ripper, fabric pen, cotton thread, scissors, spare machine needles
*4 yards of fabric, mix of focus prints, blenders and complimentary fabrics.
Requirements:
Sewing Machine: You will be required to bring along your own sewing machine. As each machine is different, participants must have a good working knowledge of their own machine. If you have a new machine we highly recommend taking a short class from your supplier on the basic operations of your machine prior to class.
